Bands and Musicians

This year on the Main Stage, we highlight The 50th Anniversary of the 1960’s biggest selling vinyl:  THE WHITE ALBUM! Additionally, July 7th is RINGO STARR’s 78th birthday, so we’ll have one solid hour of Sir Richard Starkey’s signature hits from his career on The Beatles’ drum throne, as well as a collection of Top 10 solo singles of the 70’s.

Also on the Main Stage, a reunion of CNY faves from the first decade of the new millennium…THE FAB FIVE!   Between 2005-2009,  Paul/Joe/Charlie/Pat & Tim were featured on CBS Sunday Morning, backed up 2011 R&R Hall of Famer Terry Sylvester of The Hollies several times, and worked with original Beatles drummer PETE BEST & his band a dozen times in the Northeast.  They also headlined International BeatleWeek 2006 w/Badfinger’s Joey Molland at The Cavern Club in the Beatles hometown of Liverpool, England!

Returning by popular demand will be BeatleCuse’s girl-group sensations, THE FAB FEMMES!   This year, they will have a full half hour of material and showcase every member’s vocal talents.  Other BeatleCuse alumni include JAMIE NOTARTHOMAS (Joe Cocker’s “With A Little Help” in 2015), THE FABCATS & SCREEN TEST (with 4 SAMMY Hall of Famers between them!), and a full contingent of live strings and horns, including the OPUS BLACK STRING QUARTET for their fifth straight year!

While 30 minutes breaks take place between segments on lakeside Main Stage (to transition equipment/sound checks), the CNYAlive.com Acoustic Stage will feature several acts & artists known for their stellar unplugged musicianship and sweet harmonies, such as JOHN McCONNELL, DAY JA VOO and DARK HOLLOW TRIO + SHAWN HALLORAN.
